HOUSTON, TX – November 1, 2023 – PAGEWOOD, a commercial real estate owner, operator and developer with a growing regional footprint, announced construction completion and leasing of The Great 290 Distribution Center (“The Great 290”) — an industrial Class A cross dock facility boasting one of the city’s largest footprints located in Northwest Houston near Interstate 290 and Grand Parkway.

Designed by architect Powers Brown Architecture in collaboration with PAGEWOOD’s team, The Great 290 sits on 64 acres with high visibility along Highway 290 and frontage access. Approximately 32% of the site's perimeter has frontage along Highway 290, whereas the majority of industrial development frontage is closer to 15% along any major thoroughfare. Characterized by its dark color and wood accents, the building sits on 41 acres of the 64 total acres—allowing additional space for tenants to utilize for outdoor trailer parking, storage, or additional amenity space. Two points of ingress and egress were designed on both sides of the building, allowing a circulation loop to be built around the warehouse for ideal logistics access.

Tenant leasing The Great 290 Distribution Center:

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. (“Daikin”), a leading innovator and provider of advanced, high-quality air conditioning and heating solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications, is expanding into the 500,840 square foot footprint of The Great 290 which will house logistics and distribution operations. A leader in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) manufacturing, Daikin is the largest industrial occupier of space in Northwest Houston, Houston’s premier industrial submarket.

Daikin is expanding into The Great 290 with plans to streamline its logistical operations.

Nathan Wynne and Jason Dillee with CBRE represented PAGEWOOD and Seth Koshak, Tyler Maner, and Heath Donica with Stream represented Daikin. Dalkin’s lease accounts for 100% of Great 290’s leasable square footage.
